Let this be a lesson to you all; when at first you don’t succeed, do your research, then go back and try it again. After all, Einstein once said the definition of insanity is to do the same thing over, and over and expect a different result each time.
I attempted to make Risotto Pancakes to have with the Italian Sausage risotto my mother made and then… they didn’t come out. At all. So now I know what not to do.
What Not To Do:
- Mix the batch of risotto in with an egg until its all egg-risotto-y and try to make patties with it. They don’t stick together.
- Try to take these “patties” in the frying pan… they don’t crisp up like they should.
- Take uncrispy pancake-things from the pan and putting them on a plate.
